Frequently asked questions about the Be Happy in LIFE relationship coaching programs, including why we are your best choice, where it all happens, how long it takes, how much it costs, what happens if you don’t live in Brisbane and more.
Can I claim any of the payments?
Marriage, families, all relationships are more a process of learning the dance rather than finding the right dancer
What can I do if my partner doesn’t want to be coached?
This is quite a common situation. Unfortunately, some people aren’t keen on exposing their emotions. Some are taught to suppress their feelings, which make them reject the idea of talking about their relationships with a coach. If your partner is like that, he or she is normal!
Having said that, we can’t coach people who don’t want to be coached. In our program, client commitment is essential to change and success. The aim is for you and your partner to take control over your life and that starts by showing up and taking action.
If your partner is not interested in relationship coaching, we recommend you get some coaching first. Your partner will soon notice the positive changes in you and want to get the same. Also, you will learn some techniques, which you can present in the safety of your home and get your partner comfortable with the process before he or she joins.
It is sometimes essential for a husband and a wife to quarrel – they get to know each other better
What is the difference between relationship coaching and marriage counseling?
Marriage counselling is a past-focused discipline. The marriage counselor identifies the reasons for the client’s feelings and behaviours. Often, clients come away from marriage counselling with a label for themselves, which they then use to justify their actions and their inability to change.
In relationship coaching, we don’t dwell on the reasons, because we want to avoid this negative outcome. Instead, we focus on the future, because no matter what happened in the past, you can make it better and learn to love, respect, appreciate each other and be happy.
What’s special about the Be Happy in LIFE relationship coaching program?
Life with another person is based on the match between you and the other person, as well as your abilities to nurture each other, especially in times of stress and difficulty. We’ve done extensive research on communication styles, love languages and rapport building and added these powerful tools to our relationship coaching toolkit. Time and time again, we see how these tools help our clients come to terms with who they are (“I’m OK”), who they’re dealing with (“You’re OK”) and how to relate effectively. They also learn to “store” positiveness and love during good times for “emotional winters”, when these reserves come in very handy.
Our program is holistic and long-term focused in its approach. We work with you to build your emotional intelligence and then teach you how to sustain and even enhance the positive changes in yourself and your partner. In a sense, you become your own and each other’s coaches. This combination ensures a healthy support structure for your change and growth long after the relationship coaching is over.
All our clients write a feedback once they achieve success. Many of them have seen a psychologist, counselors and even doctors and they think the Be Happy in LIFE program is nothing like what they have experienced before.
The goal is to have a conversation in a way so that you can have another conversation tomorrow

Emotional intelligence is the key to success in life and all other aspects of life are just side effects of our ability to recognize and manage our feelings. Luckily, with the help of of our Be Happy in LIFE program, internal motivation can be developed so you can use the key to the doors to endless possibilities.
Do we need to commit to a certain number of relationship coaching sessions?
No, you don’t. In many relationship coaching arrangements, you will be asked to commit to 3, 5, 10 or more sessions and pay for them in advance. We believe that your commitment is essential to your success, but we’re confident in our ability to give tremendous value to you with our coaching without you paying in advance. We want you to come to the sessions because you see the value, not because we hold the money you’ve paid in advance. In our relationship coaching agreement, you commit only to doing your best for yourself and paying for the sessions you receive. You may stop at any stage. In fact, as soon as the clients reach success, we prepare them for separation.
Marriage is our last, best chance to grow up
How many relationship coaching sessions do we need?
The relationship coaching program has 5 sessions. We have over 25 sessions in our coaching program but learned over the years that those 5 make the biggest impact in the shortest time possible. Some of them get to a good place after 2 sessions; others need 3, 4 or 5. We recommend for couples to cover the first 2 sessions, by which time we are convinced they have a better understanding of themselves and their partners and are well on their way to gain control over their relationship.
The greatest weakness of most humans is their hesitancy to tell others how much they love them while they’re still alive
How long is each relationship coaching sessions?
Sessions take one-and-a-half hours and we ask that you allow two hours.
How often will we meet our relationship coach?
Most of our clients want to start seeing results quickly so they want to meet every week, however, we believe in making it a long term process rather than short and not sustainable so we rather stretch the program and see our clients less but reassure the changes are solid and permanent. In order help our clients stay motivated and incorporate their learning into their daily life, we have designed the program to gradually increase the gaps between the sessions.
- The gap between sessions 1 to 2 will be 2 weeks
- The gap between session 2 to 3 will be about 3 weeks
- The gap between session 3 to 4 will be about 4 weeks
- The gap between session 4 to 5 will be about 5 weeks.
If you do the calculation you will find that it will require about 3 months to complete the relationship program. All clients, even those wanting to “speed” the process and meet every week end up extending the gaps between the sessions. We believe this is a healthy process and a sign of growth, independence and confidence
No, not everyone is the same and not everyone is 100% comfortable with increasing the gaps in between sessions, this is why the coach will be in email or phone contact with the clients to assess if the gap is healthy or too long. If things happen in between and you need to see your coach earlier, you will be able to contact your coach and re-schedule your session to suite your needs. Obviously the sessions will be flexible with the couple’s time table and sessions can be taken during the day or afternoon. Some weekday evening session are also available.
Love doesn’t commit suicide. We have to kill it. Though, it’s true that it often simply dies of our neglect
Where do you meet the couples?
We live in Brisbane, the capital of Queensland in Australia. Couples come to us from New South Wales, from the Sunshine Coast and from Toowoomba.
If you chose to do relationship coaching over Teams/WhatsApp, you can live anywhere around the world.
What if I don’t live in Brisbane, in Queensland or even in Australia?
Most couples who do not live close to Brisbane (Australia), either organise themselves with a group of other couples and book the full day program or do the program individually or as a couple on Teams/WhatsApp and email.
There is no greater happiness for a man than approaching a
door at the end of a day knowing someone on the other side
of that door is waiting for the sound of his footsteps
Aren’t you afraid that if clients become each other’s coaches, they will not use your services anymore?
Not at all. We think that dependency contradicts control and responsibility. We feel that we are successful when our clients have established a coaching mentality and are masters of communication. We have plenty work and demand for our services and every successful couple brings another couple that needs help, which only increases our client base. We are happy to have two more people who become part of the Be Happy in LIFE family, spreading happiness, love, caring, acceptance and success in our world.
If you live to be a hundred, I want to live to be a hundred minus one day, so I never have to live without you
